A young student from Bodmin College wanted to help the local shop keeps during the road works that will last 10 months and has split the town in two. Fin Davis 17, has an interest in video and film making and wanted to use his skills to promote Bodmin during the upheaval. Working with John Lakey who runs a youth group in the town they came up with a plan to help shout out, Bodmin is Open. The film can now be used for the town to promote the wide range of shops available here and to encourage more people to use the town and take advantage of the free parking. Fin hopes to go to Falmouth University to do a degree in video technology when he has finished at college and John, who is also at Falmouth University studying Entrepreneurship, is driving the youth group forward to work on other projects that benefit the town.
