![]() Today at 5pm we will be launching a Crowdfunder campaign to raise money for our new travel support program The Travel Support Program is an innovative scheme that opens up travel opportunities to young and disadvantaged people in Cornwall. It aims to increase mobility and provide life changing travel opportunities that will help raise aspirations among young disadvantaged people in Cornwall whilst also providing intercultural learning, strengthening independence and increasing employability. We have organised a huge raffle with a vast range of prizes worth up to £695. Up for grabs are a professional writing course (worth over £400), bespoke silk quilts worth £450 each, books, clothing, fudge, luxury breaks in Cornwall and much more besides. These prizes have all been donated by businesses as a show of support for our project, our supporters include TV presenters Richard and Judy, BBC Radio 3 presenter Petroc Trelawny, Coodes Solicitors and Unique Home Stays. We need your help to ensure the success of this project. So please make a pledge for a raffle ticket, just £2 each. As we operate in the interest of the community, all of the money you donate will go directly towards the project. We are very grateful for any donations we receive and they will be a great help - no matter how small. After all, alone we can achieve so little but together we can achieve so much.
Also, we would very grateful for your help in spreading the word. Speak to your friends, families, colleges etc. about the project, this will help us significantly in expanding our reach. If you tell 10 people and they each tell 10 people, you have helped us reach another 100 people. Social media is also a useful place for spreading the word and we appreciate both your engagement with our social media posts (https://www.facebook.com/CultivateCornwall) and (@CultivateCN) and also sharing the project on your social media pages. On average, just 1 share can help generate an additional £25! So start the conversation using the hashtag #Travel4all.
